Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo Update to Address Performance Concerns

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the highly anticipated PlayStation 5 exclusive, is set to receive a demo update addressing performance concerns. Square Enix has announced that the update, scheduled for February 21, will not only enhance the demo but also improve the visual quality in the main game.

Players had previously expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the game’s Performance Mode, citing a significant reduction in clarity and detail compared to its Graphics Mode counterpart. IGN’s own performance review echoed these concerns, highlighting the noticeable disparity between the two modes.

In response to the feedback, Square Enix has taken swift action to address the issues ahead of the full game’s launch on February 29. The upcoming update aims to elevate the visual experience for players who opt for Performance Mode, both in the demo and the full game. According to a post on X/Twitter, the improvements will be applied to enhance the visual quality when selecting Performance Mode from the graphics options.

Fans eagerly await the update on February 21 to see if the changes will result in a substantial improvement to the overall gaming experience. With the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth just around the corner, this update is poised to enhance the gameplay for players on the PlayStation 5 platform.
