Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.57 Released with Enhancements and Quality-of-Life Changes

Final Fantasy 14 patch 6.57 has been released, bringing with it a range of enhancements and quality-of-life changes to the popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Despite the anticipation for the next expansion, Dawntrail, this summer, Square Enix has rolled out version 6.57 to address balancing and adjustments in playable content, such as PvP and Savage content.

One notable update in the quest department is the adjustment of rewards for three main scenario quests for A Realm Reborn. Rewards for ‘The Scions of the Seventh Dawn’, ‘Back from the Wood’, and ‘The Black Wolf’s Ultimatum’ have been significantly increased, providing players with better compensation for their efforts.

Additionally, the level-90 raid Thaleia has been added to Duty Roulette: Alliance Raids, and the weekly limit for Allagan Tomestones of Comedy has been doubled. Pandaemonium: Anabaseios (Savage) has also undergone adjustments, ensuring treasure coffers always appear and removing weekly restrictions on rewards and entrance.

Changes in PvP content include decreased data requirements to win in Fields of Glory (Shatter) and increased data gained from defeating an opposing team member. The patch also includes bug fixes, miscellaneous updates, and a reminder from Square Enix about the upcoming Xbox Series X|S open beta, set to commence on February 21.
