The recent release of a new set of trailers has created quite a buzz among gaming enthusiasts. The first trailer unveiled the early 2025 release window, while the second introduced characters such as Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Hotaru Futaba, Tizoc, and Preecha.

Fatal Fury, which made its debut in 1991, played a significant role in popularizing fighting games in the 1990s. The franchise’s most recent installment, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, was released in 1999.

The upcoming game will see a mix of fan-favorite characters from Fatal Fury and Garou: Mark of the Wolves, along with some fresh faces ready to battle it out in the arena. One of the new characters making her debut is Rock Howard, who is the star pupil of Joe Higashi. Raised by Terry Bogard, Rock’s journey is filled with internal conflict and mixed emotions as he sets out to uncover the truth about his past.

Terry Bogard, known as South Town’s Legendary Hungry Wolf, takes Rock Howard under his wing following an epic encounter with his archrival and Rock’s father, Geese Howard. However, events at a fateful tournament lead them to part ways, with Terry eventually finding himself drawn into another martial arts tournament called ‘KOF.’

Another new character, Hotaru Futuba, is a young girl on a mission to find her older brother, who disappeared after their mother’s passing. Determined and unwavering, she is set to confront a mysterious stranger who bears a striking resemblance to her missing brother.
