PC and Xbox players can now bring Lucy’s neat tranquilizer handgun from the Fallout TV show into the virtual wasteland of Fallout 4, thanks to a talented modder who has created a free mod for the game.

The silver-plated tranquilizer gun, a mostly original creation designed for the new Amazon Prime adaptation, has quickly caught the attention of Fallout fans. Modder Neeher has wasted no time in recreating this sleek and compact weapon for players to enjoy in Fallout 4.

Lucy, one of the main characters in the series and the show’s main vault dweller, wields the silver tranquilizer dart gun in the first episode of the series. While it seems partially inspired by the syringer weapon seen in Fallout 4, it has its own unique design. The addition of this new weapon to Fallout 4 is now available as a free mod.

Modder Neeher, also known for working on the Fallout: London fan expansion, released the ‘Select Blaster,’ their version of Lucy’s dart gun, on April 11. Inspired by a Vanity Fair article about the show, Neeher began working on adding Lucy’s gun to Fallout 4 last year.

The modder’s take on the weapon from the show goes beyond just being a tranquilizer. Neeher explained, ‘It can be a tranquilizer if you want it to be, it can be used as a Syringer, and it can also be an energy weapon too!’

Once installed, the Select Blaster can be found inside Vault 114 in the Overseer’s office, in a weapon case on the wall. Players can then craft it at chem benches in the wasteland, providing them with a versatile and exciting new addition to their arsenal.
