Exciting M. Bison Update Coming to Street Fighter 6

Exciting news for Street Fighter 6 fans as server maintenance is currently underway for the much-anticipated M. Bison update and new game features. Despite the recent addition of Akuma and the Season 2 balance update, Capcom is gearing up to release even more content for SF6.

The server maintenance, as announced by Capcom, started on Tuesday night, June 25, at 8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. ET and is expected to last until around midnight PT / 3 a.m. ET. During this period, online functionality, including matchmaking, the Capcom Fighter Network, in-game shop, rewards, and more, will be temporarily unavailable. However, players can anticipate the new update to be available for download while the servers are down.

The highlight of this update is the introduction of M. Bison as the first DLC character for Season 2 of SF6. Known for his powerful moves, M. Bison is set to bring both new and familiar tricks to the battlefield. Additionally, Capcom is implementing various quality of life changes and features in the upcoming patch.

Players can look forward to visual adjustments such as the health bar glowing when Critical Art is ready, modifications to the Drive Gauge display, and a new shortcut enabling direct access to Training Mode from the start screen. Furthermore, improvements to Replays, match settings, and notifications are on the horizon. As an added bonus, gamers will have the option to use classic Street Fighter announcers and sounds for their matchmaking challenger screens.

For further updates and the complete list of patch notes, fans are encouraged to stay tuned to EventHubs. The server maintenance is expected to last approximately 4 hours, concluding on June 26 at 4 a.m. BST.
