EVO 2024 Presented by Chipotle is set to be a gaming extravaganza like never before! The first details for Evo 2024 were unveiled during the announcement show, with Vicious and Majin Obama providing a sneak peek into what’s in store for the event. The three-day convention, scheduled for July 19-21, 2024, will take place at a brand new venue – the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, promising an unparalleled experience for players and fans alike.
One of the major highlights is the introduction of single badge access for both the convention and the Finals, streamlining the attendee experience. Additionally, the event will feature an expanded show floor, offering everything from the vendor village to the arcade stick museum, ensuring non-stop entertainment throughout the three-day event.
Attendees can look forward to an array of upgrades and additions, including the largest Evo free-play arcade and BYOC section ever created, a new art gallery showcasing the history of the fighting game genre, and an enhanced cosplay contest with photo dioramas and featured guest judges. The Evo Showcase will have a dedicated stage for panels, reveals, interviews, and exhibitions, while the Evo Community Showcase will feature games hosted by community organizers.
Furthermore, Evo 2024 introduces a new Arena Finals Experience, eliminating the need for separate badges for the Arena Finals. This allows players and fans to explore the convention activities throughout Saturday and Sunday with just one badge. The Main Stage in the Arena Finals Experience will host the Finals for every main lineup tournament, providing a flexible and immersive layout for all attendees.
As for the lineup, Evo 2024 will feature a mix of familiar titles and brand-new games making their debut at the event. With increased minimum guaranteed prize pools, Evo 2024 promises an electrifying atmosphere and thrilling competition for all participants.
