Eneos Corporation Unveils Innovative Automotive Solutions at 2024 SEMA Show

Japan’s Eneos Corporation Showcases Innovations at 2024 SEMA Show

Las Vegas, Nevada – The 2024 SEMA Show, taking place from November 5 to 8, has welcomed a significant player in the automotive industry, Eneos Corporation. Formerly known as JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation, Eneos is Japan’s largest oil company and a prominent supplier of motor oil and transmission fluids, particularly for Asian vehicle manufacturers. Their participation in this year’s event underscores their commitment to the American car market.

Eneos operates globally, with key locations in the United States, including JX Nippon Oil & Energy USA Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois, and Nippon Oil Lubricants (America), LLC in Alabama. The company’s extensive reach and expertise in the automotive sector have positioned them as a leading supplier of premium vehicle lubricants for both manufacturers and the aftermarket.

Innovative EV/Hybrid Fluids Unveiled

At their booth, Eneos is introducing an exciting new line of fluids specifically designed for electric and hybrid vehicles. This innovative range includes four products aimed at enhancing long-term vehicle maintenance. Among these is the e-Axle Fluid, developed specifically for the e-axles found in electrified vehicles. This fluid provides superior thermal and oxidation breakdown resistance, setting it apart from traditional automatic transmission fluids (ATF) and gear oils.

Additionally, Eneos is launching a new 50/50 Antifreeze/Coolant available in three distinct formulas. This high-performance, extended-life antifreeze is engineered for the cooling systems of electric vehicles (EVs), hybrids, and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs). The product is differentiated by its color-coded options—Pink, Blue, and Green—making it versatile for use in all types of internal combustion engines, including diesel and gasoline.

Engaging Activities and Iconic Vehicles

In addition to showcasing their innovative products, Eneos has planned an engaging autograph session with Team Eneos Formula Drift on November 6. Attendees can meet their favorite drivers while enjoying the display of four high-profile vehicles that highlight the company’s connection to automotive culture.

Among the standout vehicles is the widebody 1971 Datsun 240Z, famously known as the ‘Devil Z,’ which draws inspiration from the anime manga series Wangan Midnight. This striking vehicle features a muscular widebody design crafted by renowned virtual designer Jon Sibal, and it is finished in the eye-catching Porsche PTS San Marino Blue Metallic.

Also on display is a first-generation 1972 Toyota Celica, owned by veteran racer and Formula Drift team manager Stephan Papadakis. This remarkable car started as a barn find and has since been transformed into a personal showpiece, boasting a bored 2.2-liter 18R-G four-cylinder engine.

Other notable vehicles include a classic 1960 Renault Dauphine and a 1995 Toyota Supra, further emphasizing Eneos’s dedication to both modern and vintage automotive excellence.
