Dungeonborne Update Introduces New Rogue Skill and Gameplay Enhancements

In an exciting development for fans of the PvPvE extraction RPG Dungeonborne, Mithril Interactive has rolled out a significant update following three weeks of early access. This update introduces a host of new features, enhancements, and balance adjustments aimed at improving gameplay and player experience.

One of the standout additions is the introduction of a new skill for the Rogue class called Shadow Veil. This innovative skill allows Rogues to cloak their allies in a stealth-granting fog for a duration of 15 seconds, providing a strategic advantage during engagements. Additionally, Rogues can now maintain stealth for up to 30 seconds, enhancing their ability to navigate the battlefield undetected. If a Rogue breaks stealth with an attack, the cooldown for the Shadow Veil skill is reduced to just 10 seconds, encouraging a more aggressive playstyle.

In terms of aesthetics, the game’s shop has expanded its offerings with new skeletal weapon skins. These unique designs allow players to equip their weapons with a hauntingly brittle appearance, adding a new layer of customization to the game.

Mithril Interactive has also taken player feedback seriously, implementing a series of balance changes that address various aspects of gameplay. Notably, adjustments have been made to several classes, with a particular focus on the Cryomancer. Players have noted a disparity between the skill floor and ceiling for this class, and the developers have responded with changes aimed at leveling the playing field.

Further gameplay tweaks include adjustments to the escape portal spawns on the map, which should enhance the flow of battles and strategic retreats. Additionally, the cooldown for the resurrection shrine has been modified to 10 minutes, adding an extra layer of strategy to player respawns.

Gear mechanics have also seen updates, with gloves and boots now contributing stat values that enhance overall gear power. This change opens up new possibilities for players engaging in classic mode maps, allowing for more varied and strategic gear setups.

Alongside these major changes, the update includes a variety of general tweaks and bug fixes aimed at refining the overall gameplay experience. These improvements demonstrate Mithril Interactive’s commitment to fostering a responsive and engaging gaming environment.

As Dungeonborne continues to evolve in early access, players can look forward to more updates and enhancements that will further enrich their gaming experience. Keep an eye out for future announcements from Mithril Interactive as they work to refine this promising title.
