Dungeons & Dragons fans, get ready to bring your favorite tabletop game into the world of Destiny 2! Bungie has announced an exciting crossover that will turn your Warlock into a Mindflayer, among other thrilling additions.
The collaboration between Dungeons & Dragons and Destiny 2 is set to launch on June 4, coinciding with the release of the new expansion, The Final Shape. Players can expect a range of Faerûn-inspired cosmetics, including the Flayer’s Dominion set for Warlocks, the Apex Draconic set for Titans, and the Spectral Displacer set for Hunters.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. The Adventurer’s Pack bundle will feature a Queen of Dragons ship, an Owlbear Chariot Sparrow, and the Eye Tyrant Ghost shell. Additionally, Guardians will have access to the Bigby’s Fist finisher and the Natural 20 emote, adding even more flair to their gameplay.
This isn’t the first time Bungie has delved into pop culture crossovers for Destiny 2. In the past, players have enjoyed cosmetics inspired by popular franchises such as The Witcher, Mass Effect, and PlayStation games like The Last of Us and God of War.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape is shaping up to be a significant update, marking the conclusion of the War of Light and Darkness storyline. With a new advanced subclass, destination, and campaign, players can look forward to an immersive experience.
While some PlayStation users may have unintentionally received a sneak peek of The Final Shape content, Bungie warns fans to beware of spoilers as they await the full release.
Excitement is building as Destiny 2 fans prepare to embark on this new adventure that blends the worlds of Dungeons & Dragons and the popular shooter game. Stay tuned for June 4 when the collaboration goes live!
