Denza, the luxury flagship sedan model of BYD’s premium brand Denza, has unveiled the interior details of its latest offering, the Z9GT, set to be launched by the end of this year. The Z9GT made its debut at the Beijing auto show in April, showcasing a blend of luxury and cutting-edge technology.
One of the standout features of the Denza Z9GT is its three front screens, including a horizontal center screen, an instrument screen, and a screen for the front passenger. The vehicle also boasts an on-board refrigerator in both the front and rear, catering to the demands of the competitive Chinese electric vehicle market.
In a video released by Denza, viewers got a glimpse of the Z9GT’s seats and audio details, which are expected to be key selling points of the model. Zhao Changjiang, the general manager of Denza’s sales division, described the Z9GT as a ‘D-class smart luxury flagship GT, redefining the standard of luxury.’
Measuring 5,180 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width, and 1,500/1,480 mm in height, the Z9GT boasts a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. The vehicle will be powered by BYD’s e3 technology, featuring three electric motors with a peak power output of 230 kW, 240 kW, and 240 kW, delivering a total of nearly 1,000 horsepower.
The Z9GT is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than three seconds, offering impressive performance capabilities. Denza emphasized that the vehicle, based on the e3 technology, can undergo a moose test at speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour.
This latest unveiling from Denza comes on the heels of leaked interior details of the Z9GT, with Denza dismissing the leaked images as low quality. The model’s official launch is eagerly anticipated by enthusiasts and industry observers alike, as it represents a significant addition to the luxury electric vehicle segment.
