Deion Sanders set to become a grandfather at age 56

Deion Sanders, the former NFL star and current head football coach at Colorado, is set to become a grandfather for the first time at age 56. The news comes after his eldest daughter, Deiondra Sanders, 31, announced her pregnancy with R&B singer Jacquees on Instagram.

Deiondra described the pregnancy as a ‘miracle’ but also highlighted the health risks associated with it, having undergone four myomectomy surgeries to remove fibroid non-cancerous growths in the uterus. Despite the challenges, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to have a baby, emphasizing that it was something ‘God allowed to happen’ and a ‘divine blessing’.

Deion Sanders, known as Coach Prime, also took to Instagram to share his excitement, expressing his joy at becoming a grandfather and offering words of support to his daughter. Jacquees, the expectant father, posted a photo on Instagram kissing Deiondra’s pregnant stomach and declaring his love and commitment to her.

Deion Sanders has three sons and two daughters, with his three youngest currently involved in sports at Colorado. His daughter Shelomi plays non-scholarship basketball, while his sons Shedeur and Shilo are part of the football team. Deion Jr., his eldest son, is involved in media promotion.

The announcement has garnered attention and well-wishes from fans and followers, marking a new chapter for the Sanders family and adding to the legacy of the iconic sports figure.
