Dead by Daylight, the popular asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, is set to introduce a new chapter titled ‘All Things Wicked’ on March 12. The upcoming chapter will feature a mysterious new killer known as The Unknown, described as ‘an evil so heinous that investigating it almost immediately invites death.’

Players can get a sneak peek of the new content through a test build available on Steam for a limited time. The Unknown employs a deadly toxin that induces hallucinations and has the ability to swap places with them, as revealed in a partially redacted description released by the game’s developer, Behaviour Interactive.

In addition to the enigmatic killer, the All Things Wicked chapter will also introduce a new survivor named Sable Ward and a new map called Greenville Square, which includes a movie theater and arcade. The map is designed to evoke nostalgia, reminiscent of the experience of playing arcade games in the presence of movie theater popcorn butter.

Furthermore, the test build includes various balance changes for existing killers and bug fixes. However, it’s important to note that progress from the test build will not carry over to the main build. While the test build is exclusive to Steam, the All Things Wicked chapter will be available on all platforms on March 12.

Dead by Daylight enthusiasts can access the test build by selecting the ‘Betas’ tab in the Steam properties menu for the game. This exciting update has sparked anticipation among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the official release of the All Things Wicked chapter.
