Dallas Stars Make Lineup Adjustment for Game 4 Against Edmonton Oilers

The Dallas Stars are gearing up for Game 4 of the Western Conference Final against the Edmonton Oilers with a lineup adjustment. Stars head coach Peter DeBoer revealed that centre Radek Faksa will be taking the ice in place of Craig Smith for this crucial matchup.

Faksa, who has netted one goal in seven playoff games, made a significant impact with the series-winning goal against the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 7 of the opening round. Despite missing three games due to injury during that series, the 30-year-old has proven his value on the ice. Drafted 13th overall by the Stars in 2012, Faksa wrapped up the regular season with seven goals and 19 points in 74 games.

On the other hand, Smith, aged 34, contributed an assist to Faksa’s memorable goal against Vegas and has two assists in 14 playoff appearances. With 11 goals and 20 points in 75 regular-season games, Smith’s experience adds depth to the Stars’ roster.

After securing a 5-3 victory in Edmonton, Dallas currently leads the series 2-1. Fans can catch the action as the Oilers host the Stars for Game 4 live on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 8:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. MT.
