Cyndaquil Community Day Classic Set for June 22

Pokémon Go enthusiasts are gearing up for an exciting event as Cyndaquil Community Day Classic is set to take place on June 22 from 2-5 p.m. local time. During this event, players can expect to encounter a plethora of Cyndaquil spawns, with an increased likelihood of encountering the elusive shiny variant.

According to research conducted by The Silph Road, the chances of encountering a shiny Cyndaquil during Community Days are approximately 1 in 24. To maximize your chances of finding one, players are advised to continuously engage with the game during the three-hour window.

For those looking to evolve their Quilava into Typhlosion, a special move called Blast Burn can be learned during the event. Evolving Quilava into Typhlosion between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time will grant the Pokémon this powerful charged move. Alternatively, players who miss out on this opportunity can potentially evolve their Pokémon during a Community Day weekend event in December or utilize an Elite TM to acquire the move.

In terms of its performance in battles, Typhlosion faces tough competition from other fire-type attackers such as Reshiram, Heatran, Volcarona, and Darmanitan. However, Shadow Typhlosion can hold its own as a fire-type attacker when equipped with Incinerate and Blast Burn.

During Cyndaquil Community Day, players can take advantage of various bonuses including doubled Stardust and XP for catching Pokémon, extended durations for Incense and Lure Modules, and the opportunity for Cyndaquil to photobomb snapshots. To further enhance the experience, players are encouraged to activate a Star Piece, Lucky Egg, and Incense to increase their chances of encountering powerful Cyndaquil.
