Crystal Dynamics Teases New Lara Croft Look for Upcoming Tomb Raider Game

Crystal Dynamics is preparing to unveil an all-new entry in the Tomb Raider series, signaling a departure from Lara Croft’s origin story and a return to her acrobatic roots. The iconic heroine’s new look has been teased on an official Tomb Raider website, offering fans a glimpse of what’s to come in the upcoming PS5 installment.

The new artwork, which aims to unify the original Lara and her rebooted alter-ego, showcases a more grounded appearance for the character. Clad in her customary tank top and armed with her infamous twin-pistols, the design harks back to her earlier adventures, hinting at a departure from the supermodel image of the PS1 era.

While the reveal has sparked excitement among fans, it’s important to note that the artwork may simply be a concept at this stage. Confirmation and further details are expected to accompany the formal unveiling of the new game. Amazon Games, set to publish the next installment, has teased that it will be the ‘biggest, most expansive Tomb Raider title to date.’
