The regular season is over for the ACC and the conference, along with its partners in the press, have begun handing out postseason awards.
PJ Hall was named to the All-ACC First Team. He was the only Tiger named to any of the teams (three groups of five players each are recognized). Hall received the second most votes behind only North Carolina’s RJ Davis, who was named Player of the Year.
Joe Girard and Ian Schieffelin were recognized as Honorable Mention All-ACC. Schieffelin was also named the league’s most-improved player.
As good as Hall was this season, this was the honor I felt was the most deserved on the team. Schieffelin has been a monster on the glass this season.
On the other side of the court, Clemson Women’s Basketball will not have starter Makayla Elmore available next season. She has decided to enter the transfer portal.
Elmore logged the fourth-highest minutes of any player on the Tigers’ roster in 2022-23. She averaged 4.3 points per game.
