Circular Unveils Upgraded Version of Thinnest Smart Ring with Enhanced Features

Fitness and health tracking startup Circular has unveiled a range of new features for its latest version of the world’s thinnest smart ring. The company announced upgrades to its smart ring, making it even more user-friendly and packed with enhanced capabilities.

The competition in the smart ring market is heating up, with manufacturers vying for the top spot. Circular’s Ring Slim stands out as the thinnest and most powerful tracker, measuring just 2.2mm thick and weighing a mere 2 grams. The new version of the smart ring focuses on improving comfort and wearability, with changes to the material inside the ring to reduce itchiness and friction against the finger.

In addition to the hardware upgrades, the Ring Slim now boasts an improved scratch-resistant exterior and is waterproof up to a depth of 1.5 meters. The device also carries an IP68 waterproof and dust rating, making it resistant to water and dust for extended periods.

On the software front, Circular has introduced new sleep staging algorithms with an impressive accuracy rate of nearly 80% compared to Polysomnography. The smart ring also features an advanced heart rate monitoring system tailored for sports activities, allowing users to track GPS routes and analyze performance metrics through the ‘Sport Session Circle’ app feature.
