Chrysler Recall: Software Issue in 2022 SUVs and Trucks

Chrysler has issued a recall for over 211,000 SUVs and trucks due to a potential issue with the anti-lock braking system software that could lead to the disabling of the electronic stability control systems in the vehicles. This safety concern arises from a software glitch that may cause malfunctions, posing a risk to drivers.

The models affected by this recall include the 2022 Dodge Durangos, as well as the Ram 2500s and 3500s. To address this issue, dealers are offering a free service to update the ABS control module software for customers.

Owners of the impacted vehicles will start receiving notification letters from July 26 onwards. Alternatively, they can reach out to customer service at 1-800-853-1403 and mention the recall number 55B for further information.
