Chipotle Offers Free Burritos for NBA Finals Free Throws

Chipotle is adding an exciting twist to the NBA Finals this season by offering free burritos to fans when their favorite teams score free throws. The ongoing series between the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics has fans on the edge of their seats, not just for the game but also for the chance to win delicious food.

Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s chief brand officer, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for celebrating successful free throws on the basketball court. This initiative aims to incentivize players to perform well during the final series of the season, creating a unique opportunity for fans to enjoy free food.

To claim a free burrito, fans must wait for a Boston or Dallas player to make at least two free throws after a foul. If a player successfully makes three shots after a foul, they will need to make all of them to unlock the free burrito opportunity.

Once the free throws are made, Chipotle will release a special code on their platform. The first 500 people to text or tweet the code to 888222 will receive a code for a free regular-priced menu item, which includes burritos, bowls, salads, and quesadillas.

Chipotle has set a limit of 17,500 free codes per game, equating to 35 completed trips to the charity stripe. The free burrito codes can be redeemed in-store, online through the Chipotle website, or via the company’s app, with a validity period until July 6.

Depending on the outcome of the NBA Finals, lucky fans can enjoy their free burritos at select Chipotle locations, such as the Thayer Street or Branch Avenue outlets. This innovative promotion adds an extra layer of excitement to the already intense basketball showdown between the Mavericks and the Celtics.
