Carrie Underwood, the former American Idol winner, is set to make her debut in Hawaii with her first-ever concert at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu on July 19. The 41-year-old singer announced the exciting news through her social media accounts, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Unlike her previous performances, this concert will not feature any opening acts, allowing fans to enjoy an exclusive experience of Underwood’s remarkable talent. The presale for Hawaii residents will commence this Saturday, with tickets available for mainland U.S. residents from March 23.

While this marks Underwood’s first official concert in Hawaii, she has a connection to the state through her involvement in the 2011 film Soul Surfer, where she filmed scenes on location. Currently, Underwood is in the midst of her Las Vegas residency, Reflection, which began in December 2021 at the Resorts World Theatre and has been extended into 2022.

Previously, Underwood paused her residency to embark on the Denim & Rhinestones Tour in support of her studio album of the same name, released in 2022. The tour, which kicked off in Greenville, South Carolina, concluded in Seattle in March. Following the tour, Underwood resumed her Las Vegas residency from June to December and is set to continue until October.
