British Tennis Player Jack Draper Secures Spot in Mexican Open Quarter-Finals

British tennis player Jack Draper secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the Mexican Open in Acapulco after a convincing victory over Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka. The 22-year-old athlete, who had previously defeated seventh seed Tommy Paul, dominated the match, triumphing with a 6-3 6-0 win in just 68 minutes.

Draper displayed his strength from the beginning, breaking Nishioka’s serve in the opening game and quickly establishing a 3-0 lead. Despite Nishioka’s efforts to stay in the game, Draper maintained his momentum and claimed the first set in 42 minutes.

The second set saw Draper continue his dominance, breaking Nishioka’s serve multiple times and securing his own serves to secure a spot in the last eight. His next opponent will be Miomir Kecmanovic, ranked three places below him at No 53, following the Serbian’s victory over Daniel Altmaier.
