Beyoncé Unveils Tracklist for Upcoming Album ‘Cowboy Carter’

Beyoncé has recently unveiled the tracklist for her upcoming album, Cowboy Carter, which is set to be a follow-up to her previous release, The Renaissance. The tracklist includes a rumored cover of Dolly Parton’s iconic song ‘Jolene’ and a collaboration with country legend Willie Nelson on a track titled ‘Smoke Hour’.

The announcement was made through Beyoncé’s social media accounts, where she shared a vintage-style poster featuring the extended title of the project: Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit. The album is scheduled for release on March 29 and will feature singles such as ’16 Carriages’ and ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’.

‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ made history as Beyoncé became the first Black woman to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The track also achieved the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Beyoncé’s ninth chart-topping hit and her first since ‘Break My Soul’.

Aside from the aforementioned tracks, Cowboy Carter will also include songs with titles like ‘Spaghetti,’ ‘The Linda Martell Show,’ ‘Riverdance,’ ‘Tyrant,’ and ‘Dolly P.’

Upon the album’s announcement, Beyoncé initially referred to it as Act II, and she recently shared the album’s artwork along with a note emphasizing that it is not a country album but rather a ‘Beyoncé’ album.

It’s clear that Beyoncé’s upcoming album has generated significant anticipation and excitement among fans and music enthusiasts alike. With its unique blend of genres and the involvement of iconic figures like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, Cowboy Carter is poised to make a substantial impact on the music scene upon its release.
