Independence Day is fast approaching, and if you’re looking for the best spots to catch the fireworks in the Capital Region, we’ve got you covered. Cities and towns across the area are gearing up for a weekend full of parades, fireworks displays, and other exciting events to celebrate the Fourth of July.

New York State’s Fourth of July Celebration in Albany is one of the highlights of the holiday weekend. Taking place on July 4 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the event will feature a performance by Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers, as well as a spectacular fireworks show. Food and drink vendors will also be on site to keep you fueled throughout the evening.

Amsterdam is also getting in on the action with its Independence Day Fest Sponsored by DANVANN on July 3 at Riverlink Park. The festivities include food trucks, specials from Drifter’s, live music, and a fireworks display starting at 9:30 p.m.

For those in Berne, mark your calendars for Saturday, June 29, when the town will host a fun-filled event at Berne Memorial Town Park. From 3 p.m. onwards, enjoy fireworks, ice cream, snow cones, pony rides, hot dogs, and more.

Bethlehem is offering a Family Day on July 4 at the Elm Avenue Pool Complex from noon to 8 p.m. The day will feature various performances and activities, culminating in a fireworks show at 9 p.m.

Head over to Bolton Landing on July 4 for a day of live music, magic shows, and fireworks at Rogers Memorial Park. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. and concludes with a dazzling fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

Catskill will be hosting its 4th of July Celebration on July 6 at Dutchman’s Landing. Enjoy a performance by The Soul Purpose Band starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by a stunning fireworks show.

Clifton Park’s Fourth of July Celebration at Clifton Common on July 4 promises a day full of excitement. From a Freedom Mile and parade to food vendors, carnival rides, and live music, the event culminates in fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Corinth’s annual Independence Day fireworks display is set for July 6 at dusk, with the fireworks launching from the school’s River Street field. Don’t miss this spectacular show!

Glens Falls will see the return of its Summer Pops Concert on July 3 at Crandall Park, featuring a performance by the Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra followed by fireworks at dusk.

And for those in Greenwich, head to the Washington County Fairgrounds on July 3 for a fireworks display that is sure to light up the night sky. Gates will open for this exciting event.
