Barangay Ginebra and NLEX Road Warriors show charitable sides ahead of crucial PBA Commissioner’s Cup clash

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the NLEX Road Warriors exhibited their charitable sides as they visited Legazpi City on Friday, ahead of their crucial clash in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Saturday. The Gin Kings, along with import Tony Bishop, participated in the Alagang PBA outreach program by providing goods to indigent children. NLEX also joined in the goodwill, with DeAndre Williams-Baldwin and the Road Warriors engaging in a lively interaction with mothers of the indigent children after their training session.

As the two teams prepare for their final game in the preliminaries, the outcome will determine their fate in the Commissioner’s Cup. Barangay Ginebra currently holds the fifth spot with a 7-3 record. A victory on Saturday would secure the final twice-to-beat advantage for the quarterfinals, potentially dropping the Meralco Bolts to fifth place. On the other hand, a win for NLEX would secure at least a playoff for 8th place and provide a playoff bonus for their sister team, Meralco.

The highly anticipated Barangay Ginebra-NLEX game is scheduled to air this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. on CNN Philippines, PBA Rush, and the Pilipinas Live app.

Stay tuned for more updates on the PBA, B.LEAGUE, and other exciting sports events.
