Apple TV+ Unveils First-Look Photos from Season 2 of Sci-Fi Series Silo

Apple TV+ has recently unveiled four exclusive first-look photos from Season 2 of the highly anticipated series, Silo. The sci-fi drama, based on Hugh Howey’s popular trilogy, Wool, Shift, and Dust, follows the story of the last 10,000 survivors on Earth living in a mile-deep silo to shield themselves from the dangerous external environment.

Starring Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette, the show delves into the mysterious underground civilization where she plays the role of an engineer-turned-sheriff. The first season of Silo only scratched the surface of Howey’s first book, Wool, leaving ample room for further exploration in the upcoming season.

Speaking about the upcoming season, Ferguson hinted at staying true to the essence of the original book while incorporating some alterations to keep the storyline engaging and fresh for viewers. The actress, who also serves as an executive producer on the show, praised the dedication and hard work put in by the team to bring the scripts to life, especially amidst challenges like the looming WGA strike.

With Season 2 set to raise the stakes and delve deeper into the intricate world of Silo, fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere date. While an exact release date is yet to be confirmed, Apple TV+ has teased that Silo, along with other returning series like Severance, Slow Horses, and Shrinking, are expected to make a comeback ‘in 2024 and beyond.’
