Apple Releases visionOS 1.1.2 Update for Vision Pro

Apple has recently released the visionOS 1.1.2, a minor update to the visionOS operating system that was launched alongside the Vision Pro in February. This update comes just a month after the release of visionOS 1.1. Users can install the visionOS updates by accessing the Settings app on the Vision Pro, navigating to the General section, and selecting Software Update. It’s important to note that the Vision Pro headset will need to be removed to install the new software, and users will be able to track the progress through a bar displayed on the front EyeSight screen.

According to Apple’s release notes, the update brings unspecified bug fixes and is recommended for all users. Additionally, Apple has rolled out a revised visionOS 1.2 beta for developers, featuring a new 21O5555f version number, an upgrade from the previous 21O5555e version.

It’s clear that Apple is committed to providing regular updates for visionOS. With the visionOS 1.2 update already in beta testing, there are expectations for the introduction of visionOS 2 in June, which is anticipated to come with a new set of features.
