Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s upcoming wedding in Jamnagar, Gujarat, is set to be an extravagant affair with 1,000 guests. A team of 21 chefs, including 20 women, will prepare a wide variety of dishes, including Japanese, Thai, Mexican, and Parsi Thali. Notable guests like Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, Bill Gates, and Bob Iger will be in attendance.
In what is set to be a confluence of culture, tradition and international camaraderie, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, are gearing up for their pre-wedding festivities in March at the picturesque locale of Jamnagar in Gujarat.
Ever since the date of the youngest member of the Ambani family, Anant Ambani’s wedding, was announced with Radhika Merchant (daughter of Indian businessman Viren Merchant), there has been quite a lot buzz about the same. While Anant Ambani is known for his passion towards animal welfare, Radhika Merchant on the other is passionate about classical Indian dance form Bharatnatyam.
From the guest list to the gifts, and food; everything is going to be an extravagant affair. The couple Anant and Radhika were engaged last year in January in a traditional Gol Dhana ceremony; their wedding is going to take place on July 12.
As per media reports, their pre-wedding festivities will be held from March 1-3 in Jamnagar (Gujarat), where as many as 1,000 guests will grace the occasion. The 3-day pre-wedding festivities will have different themes and dress codes, and are set for a pre-set itinerary. While Day 1 has a theme called ‘An Evening is Everland’ (March 1) and the dress code is evening cocktail attire, Day 2 is all set for a ‘A Walk on the Wildside’ (March 2) theme, from where the guests will head to Mela Rouge where desi activities will take place and the guests will dress up in ‘jungle fever).
