Alaska State Fair Adds Second Show for Ludacris Due to High Demand

Alaska State Fair officials have announced a second show for multi-Grammy award-winning artist Ludacris due to high demand. The R&B rapper’s initial concert tickets sold out within hours of being made available, prompting the addition of an encore appearance this fall.

The second show is scheduled for Aug. 25, a Sunday night concert following Ludacris’ fair debut on Aug. 23. The announcement came after the fair’s Facebook page confirmed that tickets for the first show sold out within two hours of being released to the general public.

Responding to the popular demand, the state fair revealed that the second show will take place at 6 p.m. on Sunday night at the ConocoPhillips Borealis Theatre. Tickets for the additional performance will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Ludacris joins a lineup of artists for the fair’s concert series, including Mt. Joy on Aug. 19, Kolohe Kai on Aug. 29, Whiskey Myers on Aug. 31, Oliver Anthony on Sept. 1, and Stephen Sanchez on Sept. 2.

Alaska State Fair attendees can anticipate an exciting musical experience with the addition of Ludacris’ second show, catering to the overwhelming demand for the artist’s performances.
