Aftershock 2024: California’s Biggest Rock and Metal Festival Returns to Sacramento

Aftershock 2024 is set to return to Sacramento’s Discovery Park from October 10th-13th, featuring an impressive lineup of over 130 bands across four days and nights. Legendary acts like Iron Maiden, Slayer, Slipknot, and Pantera will headline the event, promising unforgettable live music experiences.

Danny Wimmer of DWP expressed his excitement, stating, ‘This is the biggest Aftershock lineup we’ve ever curated, and the largest rock and metal festival ever put together in California.’ Sacramento’s President and CEO, Mike Testa, also shared his enthusiasm, highlighting the city’s readiness to welcome fans for the four-day extravaganza.

The festival will introduce a new fifth stage, allowing for an even more extensive lineup of performances. Festivalgoers can look forward to sets from a diverse range of artists, including familiar names like Disturbed, Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch, and Judas Priest, as well as emerging talents such as Badflower, City Morgue, and Juliette Lewis and the Licks.
