Eddie Driscoll, a talented actor known for his roles in popular TV shows such as Mad Men, Entourage, and Sex and the City, has passed away at the age of 60. His close friend and fellow actor, Jimmy Palumbo, confirmed the news, expressing deep sorrow at the loss of a remarkable talent.

Palumbo fondly remembered Driscoll as a versatile performer with the ability to sing, dance, and excel in comedy. He emphasized Driscoll’s strong work ethic and widespread popularity among colleagues. Driscoll’s battle with stomach cancer came to an end in Los Angeles on December 15, following a courageous fight. Tragically, he also suffered a saddle pulmonary embolism, a life-threatening condition caused by a blood clot in the pulmonary artery, further adding to the severity of his health struggles.

Driscoll’s journey in the entertainment industry began with acting studies at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film & Theatre in North Palm Beach, Florida, where he had the opportunity to train alongside renowned figures such as Carol Burnett and Burt Reynolds himself. This early exposure paved the way for his collaborations with Reynolds in both movies and TV shows, including appearances in Physical Evidence and Breaking In.

His career continued to flourish with notable roles in a variety of successful TV series, such as Desperate Housewives, This Is Us, and recurring appearances on Days of Our Lives and TNT’s The Last Ship as Randall Croft. Driscoll’s multifaceted talents extended beyond acting, as he also worked at prominent karaoke bars in California, leaving a lasting impact on the local entertainment scene.
