A24 and Imax have joined forces to launch a monthly screening series featuring classic A24 films. The series will kick off with a screening of Alex Garland’s Ex Machina on March 27, followed by a sneak peek of Garland’s upcoming film Civil War. This collaboration will see over 300 Imax locations across the US and select international venues hosting screenings of digitally remastered A24 films each month for a year.
Following the Ex Machina screening, Ari Aster’s Hereditary is set to be showcased on April 24, and the Safdie brothers’ Uncut Gems on May 22. The partnership between A24 and Imax will bring these acclaimed films to audiences on a grand scale, offering a unique viewing experience.
Notably, this initiative builds on the success of previous collaborations between A24 and Imax, including the remastered Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense and limited releases of various A24 titles. The screening series aims to celebrate the artistry and impact of A24’s diverse film library, promising an immersive cinematic experience for audiences worldwide.
