The allegations were brought to light in ID’s new docuseries, ‘Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.’

Schneider denies intentionally sexualizing the young stars, stating that all content on his shows was carefully scrutinized and approved by network executives and standards and practices groups. His representative emphasized that if there were actual problems with the scenes, they would have been taken down, but they continue to be aired and enjoyed by audiences worldwide.

The statement also addressed claims of inappropriate workplace behavior, including crew members alleging they were asked to massage Schneider on set. His team expressed regret over these incidents, acknowledging that they occurred in public settings.

The docuseries, featuring cast and crew who worked with Schneider in the 90s and early 2000s, raises concerns of sexism, racism, and inappropriate workplace behavior. It airs on Sunday and Monday at 9 p.m. ET on ID and streams on Max.
