Wendy Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, is demanding the star to pay two years of back divorce payments as he claims to rely on them for his living expenses. According to court filings obtained by The U.S. Sun, Kevin insists that the payments, agreed upon in their Marital Settlement Agreement, should resume after abruptly ceasing just before Wendy was placed under guardianship in 2022.
Kevin stated that their out-of-court mediation had failed, leading him to bring the case before the court once again. He emphasized the impact of being without this income for twenty-three months, stating, ‘I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses and having been without this income for twenty-three months has affected me greatly.’
Additionally, Kevin is requesting immediate payment of all severance payments due at the time of the court’s order, and is seeking to execute documents related to Wendy’s AFTRA Retirement Plan. He has also asked the court to compel Wendy to sign the Qualified Domestic Relations Order for the AFTRA Retirement Plan or appoint him an Attorney in Fact to execute the document if she does not comply within seven days of the court’s order.
In a previous revelation by The U.S. Sun, Kevin also urged the court to compel Wendy’s team to provide all bank records from the date of the dissolution of marriage until the present. He argued that he was promised access to these records by Wendy’s guardian.
