An anonymous user on X platform recently urged Nintendo to provide an update on the Paper Mario title on March 10, also known as Mario Day. In response, a reliable leaker known as Pyoro hinted at the possibility of a Paper Mario update and fresh news about Luigi’s Mansion coming this weekend.
Pyoro has a history of accurate Nintendo leaks, having previously revealed details about titles such as Super Mario Bros. Wonder and teased F-Zero news before the official announcement of the series’ first new entry in almost two decades.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, a visually enhanced version of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon originally released for Nintendo 3DS in 2023, was announced last June and is scheduled for release on the Switch this summer. Additionally, the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake, announced in September 2023, is set to arrive this year, marking two decades since its original release for GameCube.
The Thousand-Year Door, which follows Mario’s quest to rescue Peach from the X-Nauts, has garnered a dedicated fan base, with many considering it the best RPG in the Mario series.
