Top247 CB Devin Williams headlines this week’s Power Four commits. The Charlotte (NC) Providence Day School blue-chipper gives the latest on his process after dropping his top schools.
247Sports’ No. 1 ranked offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. narrowed his list of 43 scholarship offers to six schools on Saturday afternoon. The programs he’s focusing on moving forward are the University of Tennessee, the University of Georgia, Clemson University, South Carolina, Ohio State, and Alabama.
Sanders is currently in the process of mapping out spring visits and summer officials with each finalist as he continues to work through his process. He explained that these schools were recruiting him the hardest from the beginning and are the ones he felt most comfortable around during his visits. He emphasized the importance of relationships and feeling comfortable and developed in the chosen program.
Sanders expressed that the spring and summer visits will be crucial in his recruitment process. He acknowledged the difficulty of narrowing down his options but is determined to find the best fit for him.
As the North Carolina Gatorade State Player of the Year, Sanders has been a national recruit since his ninth grade year. His mother, Samantha, expressed pride in his achievements and the challenge ahead of him in making the final decision.
