Gigabyte has recently introduced two new gaming monitors, the AORUS FO27Q3 and the AORUS FO32U2, which were initially showcased at CES 2024. These cutting-edge displays are tailored to cater to the demands of gamers seeking top-tier visual performance.
The AORUS FO27Q3 is a 27-inch monitor featuring a QD-OLED QHD display. It boasts a rapid 360Hz refresh rate and an impressive 0.03 ms GTG response time. The monitor incorporates gaming-enhancing features such as Tactical Features and AI-based OLED Care. Additionally, it offers exceptional color quality, supporting 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and is certified VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.
On the other hand, the AORUS FO32U2 presents a 240Hz refresh rate and a 4K OLED panel. It utilizes a Gen 3 QD-OLED panel, delivering outstanding display quality, including 400 nits peak brightness and 99% DCI-P3 color coverage.
Both monitors are equipped with a variety of ports for device connectivity, including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB Type-C. They also feature adjustable stands to accommodate different viewing positions.
As of now, Gigabyte has not disclosed pricing and release date information for these monitors. Meanwhile, MSI has made available for pre-order its QD-OLED monitor with a 32″ screen in the United States and Europe, offering a 4K resolution and an impressive 240Hz refresh rate.
Related developments in the gaming monitor market include the global launch of MSI’s MAG 27″ QD-OLED gaming monitor with 2K resolution and 360Hz refresh rate, Acer’s introduction of the Predator XB323QU M3 2K 180Hz gaming monitor, and Asus’s release of the TUF Gaming VG34VQL3A, a 2K 180Hz curved ultrawide gaming monitor in China.
Furthermore, Alienware has launched a 32″ 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitor and a 27″ 360Hz OLED monitor in India, while AOC has unveiled the Q27G3Z/D, a 27-inch 2K 260Hz gaming monitor in China. Additionally, Asus has introduced the budget-friendly ROG Strix XG27ACS, a 2K 180Hz gaming monitor in China.
