Corsair Introduces M75 Wireless Gaming Mouse with Lightweight Design and Long Battery Life
In the world of gaming peripherals, lightweight gaming mice have been gaining popularity. Corsair has introduced the M75 Wireless, a new iteration of such a mouse, designed without compromises.
Having previously evaluated various Corsair mice like the Katar Elite and the Sabre RGB Pro Wireless, both lightweight wireless gaming mice, it’s worth exploring what sets the M75 apart.
The M75 Wireless mouse comes with the Slipstream dongle and Corsair’s familiar 1.8m braided USB-A-to-USB-C cable. However, for a gaming mouse, the cable may not be the most suitable option. It would have been preferable for Corsair to invest in developing a more flexible, lightweight cable better suited for general mouse usage, particularly in gaming scenarios. Nonetheless, users can opt to replace this cable with a more suitable alternative, although choices meeting the desired criteria are somewhat limited.
This mouse allows users to cut the cord with its wired charging feature. By simply plugging in the USB cable, users can enjoy up to 40 hours of use on a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection, and even more, up to 105 hours, when switching to Bluetooth. It features a handy micro button at the bottom and offers two ways to connect: either use the included dongle for a 2.4 GHz connection, recommended for the smoothest experience and can work up to 20 meters away, or connect via Bluetooth 4.2 LE.
However, the mouse offers more than just staying powered up and connected. It boasts two zone RGB lighting, allowing users to choose from 16.8 million colors to make it uniquely personalized. Crafted with a durable, ergonomic design meant for right-handers, it features seven programmable buttons with reliable Omron switches. Users can also customize the lights in two zones using the iCUE software, and it remembers settings with its onboard memory, ensuring it’s always ready to go just the way users like it.
