Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 6 Brings Major Improvements and Features

Larian Studios has finally announced the much-anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3 patch 6, which is set to bring significant improvements to the game’s party management system after a long wait of 6 months. The update, scheduled to launch this week, is expected to address several key issues and introduce game-changing features.

One of the major highlights of patch 6 is the ability to dismiss a party member without the need to engage in direct conversation with them. This enhancement aims to streamline the process of replacing party members, reducing the time spent on foot to reorganize the party composition.

Additionally, the update will address long-standing complaints about Shield Bash and Rebuke of the Mighty, ensuring that passives correctly trigger Saving Throws. This fix comes as a relief to players who have been experiencing issues with Shield Bash for an extended period.

Furthermore, Baldur’s Gate 3 patch 6 will prioritize the player’s avatar as the main speaker during automatic dialogue scenes, a refinement that aims to enhance the overall gaming experience.

It is worth noting that the update will initially roll out for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, with a Mac version slated for release in the future. However, players on PC and Steam Deck will need a substantial 150 GB of storage for the full package, with the update itself occupying 21 GB.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has garnered over 500,000 reviews on Steam, solidifying its position as one of the platform’s best-reviewed games, alongside titles like Stardew Valley and Hollow Knight.
