Escape from Tarkov’s 14.1 Patch Removes Snow

Tarkov’s 14.1 Patch Will Remove Snow, Starting Tomorrow

Escape from Tarkov is set to undergo a significant update with the upcoming patch 0.14.1.0, which will mark the removal of snow from the game. Anticipated to be the most extensive update since the Christmas wipe, the fictional Norvinsk region in Escape from Tarkov will soon bid farewell to the white blanket of snow, making way for the return of lush green fields and forests.

For some players, the introduction of snow in Escape from Tarkov was challenging, as it made it harder to hear and navigate the environment due to the noisy, snowy footsteps. However, others found it to be a delightful addition, enhancing the game’s aesthetics and offering appealing vistas across the maps.

Battlestate Games has teased on Twitter that the snow will be removed following the deployment of the 0.14.1.0 patch, scheduled to go live globally tomorrow morning from 07:00 AM GMT / 02:00 AM EST. The update is expected to last approximately four hours, with full patch notes set to be released tomorrow.
