Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy have been announced as the latest additions to the cast of the popular action show ‘Reacher’ for its upcoming third season. The series, led by Alan Ritchson, is based on the seventh book in Lee Child’s bestselling ‘Jack Reacher’ series, titled ‘Persuader.’

Hall, known for his roles in ‘Bosch: Legacy’ and ‘Halloween Kills,’ will play Zachary Beck, a successful businessman and single father who owns a rug import company suspected of involvement in a more sinister operation. On the other hand, Cassidy, recognized for her work in ‘The Man Who Fell to Earth’ and ‘Lodge 49,’ will portray Susan Duffy, a sharp-witted DEA agent from Boston.

The third season of ‘Reacher’ is currently in production in Toronto, following the renewal announcement in December. Season 2, which premiered on Prime Video, quickly became the most-watched title across TV and film on the Amazon-owned streaming platform during its premiere weekend.

The series is written for television by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora, who also serves as the showrunner and executive producer. ‘Reacher’ is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios. Alan Ritchson, along with author Lee Child, joins the team as an executive producer for Season 3.
