On the other hand, Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba (BABA) and electric vehicle maker NIO (NIO) faced declines of 1.26% and 1.14% respectively.

Amidst these market movements, Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund made significant changes to its investment portfolio, reducing its position in The J. M. Smucker Company (NYSE:SJM) by 63.5% during the 3rd quarter. This move resulted in the fund owning 21,548 shares of the company’s stock, down from its previous holding of 59,034 shares. The value of Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund’s holdings in J. M. Smucker amounted to $2,648,000 at the end of the reporting period.

Furthermore, other institutional investors and hedge funds have also made adjustments to their holdings of J. M. Smucker. Intrepid Capital Management Inc. acquired a new stake in the company during the 2nd quarter, while Eagle Bay Advisors LLC followed suit with a new investment in J. M. Smucker.
