A former employee has filed a lawsuit against PUBG and Callisto Protocol studio owner Krafton, alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination. The plaintiff claims she was assaulted at a Striking Distance party after The Game Awards 2022 and was subsequently fired from the company two months later.

The lawsuit was filed in the state of California, and the plaintiff accuses Krafton’s head of business and strategy, Kevin Kimball, of sexually assaulting her at an industry event. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles county in December, details the plaintiff’s experience at a party hosted by Striking Distance, a subsidiary of Krafton and the developer of Callisto Protocol, where she alleges she suffered egregious sexual harassment and assault in an alcohol-fueled environment.

The plaintiff further asserts that Krafton failed to investigate the event and subsequently terminated her employment.
