Former Real Housewives star Caroline Manzo files lawsuit against Bravo and affiliated companies over alleged incident with Brandi Glanville

Caroline Manzo, the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, has filed a lawsuit against Bravo and its affiliated companies over an alleged incident involving Brandi Glanville during the filming of season 4 of Peacock’s Ultimate Girls Trip spinoff. In the lawsuit, Manzo claims that network employees regularly ply the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, leading to severe intoxication, and then direct, encourage, and allow them to sexually harass other cast members for the sake of ratings.

According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, the lawsuit specifically names Forest Productions, Warner Bros. Entertainment, NBCUniversal Media, Shed Media, and Peacock TV as the affiliated companies involved in the alleged incident. When contacted, representatives for Bravo, Peacock, NBC Universal, Shed Media, Forest Productions, and Warner Bros. did not provide immediate comments. PEOPLE has also reached out to Manzo’s attorney for further comment.

The lawsuit stems from an incident in January 2023 when Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo exited Ultimate Girls Trip early after Glanville allegedly kissed Manzo multiple times throughout the evening without her consent. Manzo describes herself as a victim of the harmful actions and seeks to hold the defendants accountable for their alleged unlawful conduct.

Manzo’s lawsuit aims to discourage the defendants from continuing to sacrifice their cast members’ safety for ratings and profits. The filing also alleges that Bravo caused and allowed Glanville’s acts of sexual harassment and assault, stating that Glanville was not required to attend a mandatory sexual harassment class for all talent prior to filming.

Caroline Manzo recalls making a conscious effort to be kind to Glanville on the night of the alleged incident, despite a previous fight between them. However, upon arriving on set, she observed the Housewives already drinking, and the situation escalated throughout the evening.

The legal action taken by Manzo against Bravo and its affiliated companies brings to light the serious allegations of misconduct within the reality TV industry. The case is expected to unfold in the coming months as both parties address the claims and seek resolution.
