Yoplait Launches New High-Protein, Low-Sugar Yogurt Snacks

Yoplait, a brand under General Mills, has recently launched a new line of high-protein, low-sugar yogurt snacks. The new product, called Yoplait Protein, is formulated using ultra-filter milk and the brand’s traditional yogurt-style fermentation process. It boasts 15 grams of protein, 3 grams of sugar, and 100 calories per 5.6-oz serving, catering to consumers looking for convenient protein options.

Available in single-serve and 30-oz tub containers, Yoplait Protein comes in various flavors such as vanilla, cherry, peach, mixed berry, strawberry, strawberry banana, strawberry cheesecake, and Key lime pie. Kaylee Pohlmeyer, senior brand manager at General Mills, highlighted the product’s aim to provide consumers with a dairy option that offers excellent macros without compromising on taste.

Yoplait Protein is set to hit the shelves at retailers nationwide starting this month, aligning with General Mills’ strategy to ramp up product innovation in the first fiscal quarter of 2024. This move reflects the company’s commitment to meeting evolving consumer needs and preferences in the dairy market.
