After his time in Toronto, Harris returned to the West Coast to join CKLG Vancouver in 1973. Here, he transitioned from using his given name to adopting the moniker “Doc Harris” by 1976. Following an impressive 11-year tenure at CKLG, he continued to make waves in the industry by joining CFMI-FM Vancouver in 1984 and later CKKS-FM and CFUN.

Harris’s career was not limited to just one station; he also had an extensive stint at CKNW, where he filled in various roles for nearly a decade. Up until 2007, he could be heard in different time slots on CISL Vancouver and co-hosting the popular weekly feature, Dan Gardener’s Automotive Intelligence.

He lent his voice to beloved animated series, including “Dragon Ball Z,” “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic,” and “Monster Rancher.” Additionally, he provided voice work for the John Candy animated series “Camp Candy” and participated in video game projects such as “Hulk” and “Aegis Defenders.” His multifaceted talent showcased his ability to connect with audiences across different formats.
