InsightEngine, developed in collaboration with Nvidia, is the inaugural application on the Vast Data Platform, which was introduced in August 2023. This functionality is integral to Vast’s Data Platform, orchestrating and executing data-related events.
Vast’s connectors to external data stores, such as Salesforce and SAP, empower the Vast DataBase to ingest enterprise data in real time. Kimball posed an intriguing question: “What if I could deploy Vast and it would automatically connect to — and vectorize — all of my enterprise data that sits inside of my applications?” This vision represents the ultimate goal of Vast and the InsightEngine.
