Chipotle to Give Away $1 Million in Free Quesadillas for National Quesadilla Day

Chipotle Mexican Grill is gearing up for a major celebration as it announces its plans to give away up to $1 million in free quesadillas in honor of National Quesadilla Day. This exciting initiative is set to kick off on September 23, 2024, promising fans a chance to indulge in their favorite cheesy delight.

For the first time, Chipotle is introducing a BUY-ONE-ENTREE-GET-ONE-QUESADILLA (BOGO) offer, available through various digital platforms. This means that customers can enjoy a delicious quesadilla on the house when they purchase an entree, making it a perfect opportunity for fans to treat themselves and a friend.

Chipotle’s quesadillas are known for their high-quality ingredients, featuring hand-crafted options made with freshly grated Monterey jack cheese, a selection of proteins, and optional fajita veggies. Each quesadilla is complemented by three sides for dipping, ensuring a satisfying meal experience. The Monterey jack cheese is grated fresh every morning in Chipotle restaurants, contributing to that coveted cheese pull that quesadilla lovers crave.

According to recent data from DoorDash, quesadillas are a beloved choice among Americans, with chicken quesadillas ranking as the second most ordered food item in 2023. With this in mind, Chipotle is amplifying its National Quesadilla Day festivities this year, making it easier than ever for fans to enjoy this iconic dish.

As part of the celebrations, Chipotle will be hosting a scavenger hunt starting on September 23. Fans are invited to participate by uncovering special codes that will be shared across Chipotle’s social media channels. These codes can be claimed for a chance to receive a BOGO quesadilla. The hunt will be promoted on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok, where food enthusiasts and creators will be sharing their love for Chipotle’s quesadillas.

Among the creators participating in this unique event is Shari Dyonne, who gained popularity for her inventive drink hacks. She will be showcasing her favorite quesadilla order in a mukbang video, where she will also drop a text-to-claim code for up to 10,000 fans to redeem a BOGO quesadilla.

Another TikTok sensation, Dylan McArthur, known for his mukbang content and enthusiasm for Chipotle, will reveal his go-to quesadilla order in a similar fashion. He will also provide a text-to-claim code for an additional 10,000 fans to enjoy a complimentary quesadilla.

Additionally, creator Anthony Hernandez will share his favorite quesadilla order on his TikTok channel, giving another 10,000 fans the opportunity to claim a BOGO quesadilla through a special code.

Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing at Chipotle, expressed excitement about the promotion, stating, “Our customizable hand-crafted quesadillas create the best pairing of real ingredients and melted cheese, which TikTok foodies and mukbangers can’t get enough of. We’ve teamed up with some of our most passionate creators to give fans a chance to enjoy our delicious quesadillas in a fun and engaging way.”

This initiative not only highlights Chipotle’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction but also taps into the growing trend of social media engagement, where food content is thriving. The scavenger hunt and partnerships with popular creators are designed to enhance the overall customer experience and celebrate the joy of food sharing.

As National Quesadilla Day approaches, fans are encouraged to stay tuned to Chipotle’s social media platforms for updates and clues on how to participate in the scavenger hunt. This is a fantastic opportunity for quesadilla lovers to indulge in their favorite dish while enjoying the thrill of a treasure hunt.

Mark your calendars for September 23 and get ready to celebrate National Quesadilla Day with Chipotle, where deliciousness meets excitement in a quest for free food!
