Renegade Game Studios has unveiled a new board game, Battle for the Arctic Circle, set for release in May 2024. This G.I. Joe-themed game is powered by the Axis & Allies board game engine and features an intriguing storyline where Cobra has invaded the North Pole, posing a threat to the world with the Weather Dominator. Players will take on the roles of the Joes, led by Admiral Keel-Haul and Snow Job, as they engage in classic Axis & Allies gameplay across three included scenarios.

The game box includes over 100 plastic miniatures, a game board, rulebook, and various tokens and miniatures representing different factions and vehicles. Designed for two to four players, ages 14 and up, the game offers a 90-minute playing time and will retail for $60.00.

In addition to Battle for the Arctic Circle, Renegade Game Studios has also announced the preorder availability of Axis & Allies: North Africa, expanding the Axis & Allies game series.

On another note, fans of ‘Critical Role: Vox Machina’ can look forward to a limited series coming in May 2024, with returning writer Jody Houser and artist Noah Hayes. WizKids has also unveiled the new 50th Anniversary – Classic Red Dragon Boxed Miniature for D&D Icons of the Realms, catering to Dungeons & Dragons enthusiasts.
