A major cruise line is set to make a return to Philadelphia in 2026 after more than a decade of absence. Norwegian Cruise Line will be welcomed at the Port of Philadelphia, offering travelers exciting opportunities to cruise to various destinations.

The Norwegian Jewel, with a capacity to host 2,300 guests, will be the featured ship, providing voyages to popular locations. During the summer of 2026, guests can embark on seven-to-nine-day trips to the beautiful island of Bermuda, with the ship docking overnight for an extended experience. As the cooler months approach, from September 5 to October 7, 2026, the Norwegian Jewel will sail on 10 and 11-day journeys to Canada and New England.

The economic impact of cruise vessels is expected to be significant, with the new ship potentially creating over 2,000 jobs and generating more than $40 million in annual county and state tax revenue. The ship will alternate homeports between Philadelphia and Quebec City, providing diverse opportunities for travelers.
