Hard Rock International and Pointe Vista Holding Company have announced plans to develop the Hard Rock Hotel and Residences at Lake Texoma, set to begin construction in March 2024. The project, located within the Pointe Vista development in Texas, will be a part of a 2,700-acre master-planned resort community with various amenities including a golf course, waterpark, entertainment center, amphitheater, and casino.
With an expected opening in Q2 2026, the new Hard Rock development aims to be a premier destination on the Oklahoma-Texas border, offering natural beauty and a range of resort amenities. The area is positioned to cater to summer activities, conventions, events, and year-round entertainment, serving as the only resort venue with such a diverse array of amenities for North Texas and the entire State of Oklahoma.
Todd Hricko, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Hotel Development for Hard Rock International, expressed excitement about expanding the hotel portfolio and bringing their unique brand of hospitality and entertainment to Lake Texoma and the Pointe Vista development. He also thanked Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt for his support of the new Hard Rock development in Pointe Vista.
Governor Stitt welcomed the development, anticipating significant economic opportunities for the community and providing more reasons for guests to visit the area. Mark Fischer, CEO of Pointe Vista Holding Company, also expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, foreseeing a positive contribution to the Pointe Vista community.
The new Hard Rock Hotel at Lake Texoma will feature 189 rooms, 25 suites, and 168 residence rentals, along with an 18,000-square-foot conference center and event lawn. The property will offer amenities such as a Caribbean Bay water area, Rock Spa, Body Rock Fitness, Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club, rooftop bar, fine dining, and retail options including the Rock Shop featuring Hard Rock’s merchandise and other unique items.
